La fotosintesis

Las plantas son los unicos seres vivos capaces de producir su propio alimento a través de un proceso llamado fotosintesis , por eso se los denomina AUTOTROFOS. Para poder realizar este proceso, toman las sales minerales que estan disueltas en el agua atraves de la razíz.
En las plantas superiores esta solución se llama SAVIA BRUTA y circula por los vasos del tallo hasta llegar a las hojas. Estos organos tienen unos pigmentos llamados CLOROFILA, estos captan la energía del sol. Gracias a esta energía combinan el DIOXIDO DE CARBONO, con las SALES MINERALES y forman la GLUCOSA, un azucar simple ke constituye su alimento. Como resultado de la fotosintesios, las plantas eliminan OXIGENO un gas fundamental para nuestra vida.
La parte de las azucares de la GLUCOSA, se transforma en ALMIDON, q es almacenado en las hojas, raíz o tallo. Este sirve para ayudar a las semillas en desarollo o para ayudar a la planta en primavera y sirve de alimento para los HERVIVOROS y SERES VIVOS
